Sex and grief. How do these two go together? I don’t know about you, but there are certain things that I feel grief over. This could be the loss of certain people in my life, but it could also be grief about myself—where I am in life, the things I didn’t get to do, and the experiences I didn’t have. There’s a kind of grief for the limitations I’ve faced, for the things I’ve wanted but never realized.

I think we’re all dealing with something like this. We all have aspects of life that take us away from what we truly desire or who we really want to be. And there’s grief in that. It can manifest as loneliness, as a feeling of loss, or as unmet needs that linger in the background.

Some of you listening may feel lonely. Maybe you have people around you, but you still feel unmet. Or perhaps you haven’t been touched or truly seen in a long time. Sometimes, instead of facing these feelings, we push them down. We avoid looking at them because they’re too painful or overwhelming.

But here’s the thing: the answers you’re seeking lie on the other side of grief. What this means is giving yourself permission to feel the sadness—not wallowing in it for days or weeks, but truly allowing yourself to feel it in your body, your energy, and your soul. When you do this, you’ll find that it begins to shift, creating space for new experiences, new feelings, and new aliveness.

If you allow yourself to fully feel the grief, it opens the doorway to ecstasy and pleasure. You see, your capacity to feel grief is connected to your ability to feel joy. When you stop avoiding your emotions and let them flow, you also allow yourself to connect with deeper pleasure.

One way to begin is by bringing your body into the process. Start with gentle touch—explore your body, bring your awareness to sensation, and even integrate pleasure into this space of grief. Notice how it feels, and let your body guide you through the process.

There’s a pathway through grief, and the healing you’re looking for is on the other side. This is one aspect of Tantra that isn’t often talked about, but it’s so powerful. By moving through your grief, you can unlock deeper healing, greater aliveness, and more fulfilling connections.

I hope this has been helpful to you. Blessings and greetings to you. Take care, and bye for now.
